This popular eyepiece adapter allows 1.25" eyepieces and accessories to be used in 2" focusers, diagonals and barlows. Includes a brass compression ring that restrains the eyepiece and prevents marring of the eyepiece barrel by the metal set-screw. The thumbscrew on this model is on the side of the adapter body (see photo above), so it is perfect for use with "low profile" focusers that have a side notch to accept this screw. Otherwise, you may not be able to slide this adapter completely inside a focuser since the thumbscrew might get in the way. Threaded to accept standard 48mm filters so you can use your 1.25" eyepieces with your 2" filters. Weight: 2.8oz. Made in China.
