  DO YOU KNOW? Every Zen-Ray VISTA binocular goes through rigorous waterproof testing before leaving the factory floor by following the most demanding JIS 7 (Japanese Industrial Standard Level 7). What does that mean? They immerse every binocular into a 5 feet deep water tank for 3min. Only the one survives this rigorous test can be released. So, let it rain!
  
  Q. What's the major difference between VISTA and ZRS (SUMMIT) binoculars.
  
  A. Both models are featured with fully multi-coated optics, which means every glass/air interface has been coated with multi-layer anti reflection material. As a result, they can achieve 99.2-99.5% transmission rate for each glass surface. In addition, they both are waterproof/fogproof with inert gas charged/o-ring sealed.VISTA is designed to compete with mid-priced ($200-$350) binoculars on the market, whereas ZRS is designed to exceed optical performance of more expensive binoculars ($500-$700). You will see a lot of premium features included in the ZRS package, such as magnesium chassis, Argon gas filling, locking diopter, phase coating. ZRS is designed to improve the edge to edge sharpness so a true flat viewing field can be obtained.
